The floor covered by delicious looking roses.
The time has came for me.

In March 2007, Versailles was formed by Kamijo (Lareine), Hizaki (Sulfuric Acid), and Jasmine You (Jyakura). Later, Teru (Aikaryu) and Yuki (Sugar Trip), who were recommended by the venue Rock May Kan in Tokyo, joined the band.[citation needed]

Kamijo and Hizaki created the concept of Versailles in the autumn of 2006 and spent six months gathering members to express it. Their band concept is “the absolute youshikibi (beauty of form) sound and extremes of aestheticism”.

In March 2007 the details of the band were announced. They released promotional material through the Internet, set up an English language page on MySpace, and made several interviews with foreign press.

Versailles made their first appearance with a showcase on June 23, followed by their first performance on June 24. On these dates they also distributed their first single and DVD single, The Revenant Choir.

The band signed a contract with the German CLJ Records label and released its first album, Lyrical Sympathy on October 31, both in Japan and Europe. Their song "The Love From A Dead Orchestra" also appears on a compilation album released by Sony BMG in Germany on November 9, called Tokyo Rock City.

In 2008, Versailles made their first appearances in Europe and America. In March and April, the band performed cooperatively with Matenrou Opera across Europe.Versailles later performed shows on May 30 at Project A-Kon in Dallas, Texas and on June 3 at the Knitting Factory in Los Angeles, California as their American debut.Teru stated in the band's official blog that the concert at Project A-Kon pulled in more than 3,000 people and the Knitting Factory show sold out completely.

On July 9, 2008, Versailles digitally released their first full album, Noble, exclusively on international iTunes Music Stores. This was followed by its general Japanese CD release on July 16 and its international CD release on July 30.

Japanese rock group X Japan has decided to postpone its concert here, a week before the scheduled event.

The X Japan Production Management Committee recently announced through the group's official Web site that the group will indefinitely delay its live concerts, which had been scheduled from March 21 to 22.

They added that ticket sales for the concert to be held in Japan would also be postponed. The Tokyo concerts were to be held on May 2 and 3.

``We will announce plans as soon as possible. We express our apologies to fans who have been waiting and anticipating,'' the committee wrote on the Web site, but without clarifying the reason for the delay or further plans.

IYESCOM Entertainment, the local concert producer, said that ``the postponement of the concert is confirmed, but we have not been given any specific details of future plans.''

The company also said they would offer a full refund for the 10,000 tickets sold for the concert.

Speculation is centered on apparent conflict between group members over the unconfirmed departure of their bassist, Heath. It is known that members are discussing whether or not to actually hold the concert.

Famous for being pioneers in the Japanese glam rock movement, X Japan made its debut in 1985, becoming one of the best-known Asian rock bands in the world, selling over 20 million albums throughout Asia. The band is currently composed of drummer and pianist Yoshiki, vocalist Toshi, guitarist Pata, and Heath. The band's original guitarist, Hide, died in 1998. The group disbanded in 1997, but regrouped early this year and announced plans for a world tour.

X Japan, the rock band that reunited in 2007 after a decade apart, has announced on its website on Saturday that it is delaying its Paris concert and its Christmas concerts in Saitama, Japan until next year. Likewise, the December 24 and 25 concerts in Saitama will be replaced with a larger concert tour across all of Japan in the spring of 2009. After the Paris concert, the group will still adhere to a schedule that includes stops in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taiwan, and Korea. X Japan is also planning to go to more Northern European tour stops in Sweden and other locations. No mention has been made yet of an American tour stop, ever since the planned New York stop was cancelled earlier this year.

First Stop France, Then America

X-Japan will finally be holding their first American live concert on September 13, 2008 at Madison Square Garden. In a press conference on April 3, the band announced their plans to hold the concert in New York City, and indicated that it was band leader Yoshiki Hayashi’s dream to do a world tour. This seems to be coming true since in another press conference on March 28, X-Japan said they will also be holding another concert in Paris, France on July 5, 2008. Yoshiki also said that it is possible for the band to have concerts in Southeast Asia and South America in the future.

For American fans of X-Japan this should come as great news.
Prior to these concerts the band held a reunion concert, after a ten year hiatus, on March 28-30. However, the concert was held at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, making it hard for international fans, including us Americans, to go. Besides the fact that there was a very limited number of tickets available to international fans, there was also the fact it is very costly to travel and stay in Japan. With this Madison Square Garden concert coming in just a few months we can finally see X-Japan without having to leave the country. Plus, for those who have never been to New York, going to the concert will allow goers to have a mini vacation and tour New York City as well.

TOKYO —

Popular rock group X JAPAN held its first live concert in 10 years at Tokyo Dome on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Some 50,000 fans came to hear the charismatic rock band which disbanded in 1997. During the concert, vocalist YOSHIKI sung several popular titles and new songs. On Friday, he fainted after he finished the last song at the end of the concert.

Since X JAPAN fans were famous for getting extremely excited during their concerts, about 5,000 staff and 6,000 security personnel as well as several ambulances were deployed for the three-day event. The organizer said the total cost for the three-day event was 2.5 billion yen.

This petition is from the fans of X-Japan situated in Singapore. We all bear a common wish, that is that you, consider playing in Singapore as one of the destinations in your upcoming World Tour. I will try my best to spread this petition so that all X-Japan fans in Singapore sign this. X-Japan fans who live in Singapore, please, we need your help to spread this petition around, in hope of having an X-Japan concert right here in our homeland. Every signature is greatly appreciated by the fans of X-Japan here in Singapore. Lastly,

WE ARE X!!!!!!!

Sincerely,

Just a few days after the news got out that the ticket sales would start on November 10th (only 12 days before the actual concert), we get the news that the concert has been postponed (again!) (not cancelled though).

At a press conference that same day, it was revealed that X Japan have changed to another tour organizer for their world tour. All concert that were to be this year, have been cancelled (including Paris and Japan), and the world tour will now start with the Countdown Live concert at New Years Eve. The next arc of the tour will be in Japan during Spring 2009, and the last part of the tour in Fall 2009 will be in Europe, having concerts in Paris and Sweden. So this means that the Paris concert has actually been postponed for a whole year. The other concerts in the rest of Asia (Korea, China & Taiwan), will go on as planned.

I guess I'll have to go to the concert in Japan again next year.

Yoshiki Hayashi, the drummer, pianist, and songwriter of the X Japan rock group, has confirmed in two January 20 events and on his Myspace web page the dates for the group's reunion concerts in Japan. X Japan will perform in the Tokyo Dome, which is among the largest arenas in Japan, on March 28 and 30. Those dates had been previously reported in the Japanese press. X Japan's Attack Resumes 2008 I.V.: Heading Towards Destructionwill be X Japan's first full-length concert since it performed at the same locale on December 31, 1997, and the first since the death of guitarist Hideto "Hide" Matsumoto on May 2, 1998. The four surviving members — Toshimitsu "Toshi" Deyama, Yoshiki, Tomoaki "Pata" Ishizuka, and Hiroshi "Heath" Morie — will all return for both nights, which have been titled "Night of Destruction" and "Night of Creation." The group performed the music in the X² animated music video collection and the "Forever Love" ending theme song in Rintaro's X anime movie. Both Madhouse works were based on the X by CLAMP.

"I.V." is the title of the band's new song which features Hide's guitar work and plays within the Japanese release of the Saw IV movie. It has just begun selling on Apple's online i-Tunes Store in 23 countries, including Japan, United States, and Canada, on January 23. The website of the Jrock Revolution music festival is hosting the promotional video for "I.V" and the promotional video for the X Japan Returns Complete Edition DVD. J-rock Revolution is also planning to organize a travel package for people wishing to attend the concerts. No North American concerts have yet to be announced.

Although he wrote many songs during X, "Voiceless Screaming" and "Desperate Angel" were the only songs that came out on the official album. But in 2001, the songs were released in Indies of X Rose and Blood. Taiji left X in 1992 due to musical differences, his last concert with the band being the final night of the On the Verge of Destruction concert at the Tokyo Dome.

Yoshiki formed X Japan with vocalist Toshimitsu "Toshi" Deyama in 1982. Four years later, he founded his own independent label, Extasy Records, in order to issue the band's music. Their breakthrough came in 1989 with the release of the Blue Blood album. As a producer, he has provided several bands with first time recording contracts through Extasy Records, i.e. Luna Sea, Glay and Zi:Kill.

After X Japan disbanded, his next major endeavor was expected to become Violet UK, but the release of a debut album has since been postponed repeatedly. Beside a symphonic concert performed in 2002 and released on DVD in 2005 (which contained arrangements of old X Japan songs along with music supposedly created for Violet UK), no major publication of the project has yet surfaced.

Yoshiki remains active as a producer, i.e. for the bands Dir en grey and TRAX and has also briefly joined the pop band Globe. The Genetic Opera, along with composing one extra track. In 2003, Yoshiki worked with the lead singer of Pussycat Dolls Nicole Scherzinger on in his Violet UK project. She sang the English version of "I'll Be Your Love" live with the Tokyo Symphonic Orchestra. The track also appeared on the 2003 Various Artists album Exposition of Global Harmony.

He made a new band called "TOSHI with T-EARTH" and will start a concert tour within Japan. The band known for a new type of music, "Eco Hard Rock", will release its 1st album, "EARTH SPIRIT" in August 2008.

X Japan is a Japanese band founded in 1982 by Toshimitsu "Toshi" Deyama and Yoshiki Hayashi. Originally named X, the group achieved its breakthrough success in 1989 with the release of their second album Blue Blood. They started out as a power/speed metal band and later gravitated towards a progressive sound, at all times retaining an emphasis on ballads. After three more albums, X Japan disbanded in 1997.

Besides being one of the first Japanese acts to achieve mainstream success while on an independent label, the group is widely credited for pioneering the visual kei movement, though most of the group's members toned down their on-stage attire in later years.
